Ballymaloe is an iconic Irish food and hospitality brand centred on a 300-acre estate in Shanagarry, East Cork. Myrtle Allen opened the celebrated Ballymaloe House restaurant in 1964, earning a Michelin star in 1975 as the first Irish woman to do so, while the globally renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School was founded by Darina Allen on the same grounds in 1983.
